In the heart of Florida, lies Mills Pond Estate – a haven of raw, lush green natural beauty spread across 18 acres, offering couples the opportunity to curate their wedding according to their unique theme, vision, and style. This venue serves as a blank canvas against a backdrop of enchanting low-hanging trees, a crystal-clear water source, a dark wooden stage, and an overall ethereal ambience that seamlessly blends with nature.

To complement the venue’s pure natural beauty, a sage green and white theme was chosen, which harmonized elegantly with the surroundings. Capturing the timeless vibe of the dining table, adorned with reflective glass, white and green flowers, and gorgeous tall candles in glass frames, aerial shots were utilized to make the white tables and chairs pop against the wooden floor and greenery. Close shots were also taken to highlight the thoughtful details of the serene sage colour theme, enhancing the overall ambience.

I particularly loved how the flower arrangements on the table resonated with the bride’s bouquet and the groom’s boutonniere. These delicate details were highlighted with close shots, emphasizing the Serene Sage Affair Theme’s crisp vibe. Capturing close shots of the bride’s bouquet and her lovely ring as she held her veil added an intimate touch, tying the entire event together beautifully.

As for the bride, her long-tail gown and veil featured intricate white leaf patterns resembling ferns, perfectly complementing the natural, untouched theme of the venue. I made sure to capture the gown’s details against the wooden flooring, accentuating her vision-like beauty.

The couple shoot was undoubtedly the highlight, as I had the opportunity to experiment with creative shots that captured their love and joy amidst the stunning backdrop. Some shots were taken amidst the lush greenery, accentuating the graceful vibes of the event with simplistic yet alluring beauty. Others were given a more magical feel by capturing wide-angle shots that highlighted the fairytale setting of the venue, with ancient trees and rusty leaves adding to the charm. An additional unique aspect of this shoot was the blending of dramatic shots with the romantic. This was further enhanced by the use of greyscale to make the couple stand out in their finest moments.

But the most awe-inspiring shots were captured at the bridge near the pond, timed perfectly to coincide with the fountains in the pond. I was enchanted by how chic and timeless these photos turned out! It was truly a wonderful experience!

In every style shoot, my goal is to bring out innovation, uniqueness, and the diversity of the couple, the location, and the overall vibe of the event.
